About the Book
Photos of Fish Lake Valley, a hideaway in west central Nevada. Nestled between the White Mountains and the Silver Peak Mountains, it is the perfect haven for anyone who loves the great outdoors.
The area has abundant wildlife, from deer to mountain lions to wild horses. Fish Lake Valley is the perfect location for fishing, hiking and relaxation. Originally settled by the Shoshone and Paiute Indians and followed by miners and ranchers, the area has old mining camps, stagecoach and pony express trails and even Indian hieroglyphics. You can also find fossils and possibly even some gold. The highest mountain in Nevada (Boundary Peak at 13,140 ft) is just west of the Valley.
