About the Book
A collection of images from Cape Breton & Nova Scotia summer of 2010 & 20115. I've always vacationed here when we were kids and catching up with family is wonderful. Now that I'm older the trips are fewer and far between. I have a new appreciation for the natural and cultural beauty out east.
I love the feel of the old fishing villages. The lighthouses, boats, lobster traps and beaches make great subjects. This past trip I was blessed with some great stormy skies and fog. Perfect maritime weather.
Enjoy

About the Creator
Darren Creighton
Welland, ON Canada
I was born and raised in Welland, Ontario and have been photographing in the Niagara Region and beyond for the past 20 years. Starting out processing and printing black and white film in the darkroom, my love for black and white photography has carried over to digital. My passion is to create images using composition and lighting to bring out visual drama in a scene. I love how with camera in hand, you see and appreciate the world in a whole new way.
