About the Book
A collection of watercolour paintings by architect and town planner Mohsen (Mo) Rifaat, a Canadian/Egyptian artist living in Toronto. The subjects are varied, illustrating Mo's versatility and proficiency in depicting landscapes, seascapes, buildings, still life and portraits.
His loose technique allows the water to seek the personalities of the pigments in unpredictable blending, while preserving the essence of the intended image.
Mohsen Rifaat BSc.(Arch), MSc. (Pl) Mohsen grew up in Egypt in an artistic household where he was deeply influenced by the work of his mother, Fatma Hamdi Rifaat the late celebrated Egyptian aquarelliste.
