About the Book
Ever wonder if civil disobedience is proper? Ever wonder to what extent should Christians obey the government?
John Bunyan, author of The Pilgrim's Progress," spent roughly 12 years in prison because the English government said it was unlawful for him to preach and because he didn't attend church. (He was a Baptist, preached, and did not attend any official Anglican church services.) Since he would not promise never to preach again, John was kept in prison until the 1670's.
This book contains John's very good instructive thoughts on a Christian's perspective on persecution.
