About the Book
St. Louis parents, we've all been there. Stuck waiting in line on a hot, sweltering, summer afternoon, those brutal humid ones only St. Louis can produce. You have your children in tow, your snack stash is rapidly depleting, and your prayer is that all of you have the patience (and luck) to make it on that next tram (heaven forbid one of them need to go potty). Well, I've been there, too. This book is for my four year old son, Lucas, whose eye caught our stone friends that summer afternoon at Grant's Farm. The following is the story he and I created while waiting in line that day. It helped pass the time and we hope you enjoy it. Magic is everywhere, sometimes we just need the eyes of a child to help us look.
