PUBLIC ON-CALL: Save Your Physicians' Lives
by Marthaelena Corral
About the Book
US Physician trainee suicide has become a crisis in healthcare. The author appeals to the public to be on-call to save their physicians' lives until citizens' post-call report is zero deaths. The public's voice is the strongest force to transform the narcissistic, authoritarian, and oftentimes, predatory strategies of those in authority to more humane approaches in academia and training. US citizens are constituents to their legislators, who can eradicate the toxic learning environment ailing physician trainees. The book informs the public to empower them on this new endeavor in initiating change.
