About the Book
Black Moccasin is the tale of Joseph Cotton, Jr. (Cotton). A young black male in 2015 rural Mississippi who only wants what's best for himself and his family. He has an affinity for Hip-Hop, particularly Old School Hip-Hop. Music is his soul and music is what guides this young man toward success. However, due to several unfortunate incidents he is thrust into a world of greed, violence, hatred, and deceit. The culmination of these experiences transforms Cotton into the protector of his city.
