About the Book
I started my college career dual majoring in Biology and Chemistry. I was mentally and physically draining myself in a field, that was very unappealing to my personal interests, just to say I would have a career at the end. I coped with feeling overwhelmed and having anxiety attacks in areas of art. I would paint, draw, go to an art show or even open a box of crayons and write affirmations. This allowed me to clear my mind. The process of creation and the outcome was therapeutic. Throughout my career as a college student I have fought with anxiety and as I began to build relationships with other students I found that many of us were dealing with anxiety.
This journal was created to catalyze the realization that sometimes life is hard and that’s ok. However, instead of focusing on the negative things happening, try focusing on all of the positive shit happening in your life. It may sound like a bunch of sunflowers, rainbows and “good vibes” bullshit, but it really helps!
Use this journal however you feel fit! Don’t stress yourself out on whether you’re using it “correctly”. Just have fun!
