About the Book
These are steps you can take towards your own dream. My intention is to inspire others to move their dreams, from circling through thought—into a plan—and incrementally to accomplishment. My Guide provides insight into how I planned for cross-country travel—including the 151 trip-proven items I used to travel over 13,000 Miles Across America in 77 days. My daily story ensues. From the perspective of my journal and interwoven with my photography. I’ve concluded with a Gallery, to share more of the expansive natural beauty I was fortunate enough to see.
I aim to provide you with new perspectives, a packing list to build from, and an understanding of possibility through observation.

S. Portland, Maine
I am a sustainability-minded, efficiency-focused individual. I was born into a risk-averse family, with backgrounds in science and careers in medicine. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and lived in its suburbs in my early childhood. However, I am forever grateful to my parents for allowing me to spend most of my childhood in the idyllic coastal community of Rockport, Maine. Today, I call Portland, Maine home. I work full-time, as Sustainability Energy Associate, for low-income housing communities.
