Born and raised in Nelson, B.C., Canada - Bo is lucky to be surrounded by beauty and inspiration on a daily basis. Becoming a father has led him to revisit his love of children's books and often he gains insight on his characters from his two daughters. He is currently studying Digital Arts and New Media at Selkirk College in Nelson and hopes to continue to write, illustrate and self publish many children's books after graduation in 2019.
He has a passion for combining rhyme with his illustrations - drawing inspiration from Bill Peet books he grew up reading. His stories also incorporate moral lessons and draw attention to subjects like diversity and acceptance. He also has plans to animate the books he writes into a mini series for television and web in late 2019.
