Diane Epstein, photographer

Rome, Italy
About

Epstein's signature "fresco" style of photography is realized using a distinctive technique of layering multiple images, including ancient sites and the richly encrusted strata of Italy, to create a painterly, textured picture, revealing timelessness and the beauty of the imagination, and developing an illusion of shape and depth. Although contemporary in method and style, Epstein’s artwork is seen somewhere between a painting and a photograph, transporting the viewer to another time and place. Her large-scale photography has been exhibited extensively in the United States and Italy.

With psychological awareness gained through decades of practical experience as a therapist and creative coach, Diane Epstein, M.A., has focused on the art of expression, encouraging individuals to live and love in a manner that reflects their true nature. She leads photographic, journal writing and travel adventures, facilitating each person to develop their own style, passion, and vision.
