George Thomson was born into a farming family in south eastern Queensland. He later studied in theology and counselling. He now lives a relaxed lifestyle in his home on the banks of the Mary River, not far from where he was born. During these retirement years, his constant companions are his wife, his fishing rod and The Presence.
