Born in a small city in Brazil’s central state of Goiás, João Corrêa Neves Junior left his country in 2003 at the young age of 20, when he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a dream: to be free. Not only did João find his freedom - and understood the meaning of it -, he also found love, after meeting his spouse, Patricia Aue, a German expat living in London, a city they now call ‘home’. Together, they have lived in four different countries and traveled to over twenty-five, meeting some of the most amazing people and registering some of the most memorable places on the planet. Through texts, essays and photography, João hopes to share his message with the world: a message of freedom, love, reason. Truth. “We can all follow our dreams and fulfill our potential. We just need to free ourselves from the shackles that holds back and enslaves us”.
