Roger Hein was born in Toronto, Ontario.  He picked up the camera at an early age and began documenting the ever-changing landscape of Southern Ontario.

Self-taught as well as formally trained in the photographic arts program at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, he has worked both in retail and commercial photography.

Roger produces his images using traditional, alternative and digital photographic techniques.

His work is in private collections throughout Canada and abroad.
