About

I am originally from the bush of central western NSW. Timber cutters and sheep shearers were the main labor force inside the towns. Farming sheep, cattle and wheat were the main income. I trapped and hunted rabbits and foxes. Every house had their own milking cow and wood fired stoves ensured most children growing up were trained into work at an early age. Education was limited to a Central School with not much opportunity beyond primary school.
Apprenticed as a mechanic in 1967 at the same time I was a volunteer for the Citizens Military Forces 'D' Company 17RNSWR in Dubbo. I gained a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering in 2004 and remain a Member of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers. As a Trainer and Assessor for Mechanical Engineering my skills base expanded to teaching others. In 2011 I was accepted into University and Graduated in 2015 with Bsc Enviromental Science. Wildlife Ecology (Maj). Marine Biology. Now I Write.
