About

My journey with photography started in the summer of 2012 and it has been a challenging, exciting and an emotional experience thus far. I am learning as I go and will hopefully get better with time. I enjoy street, travel and documentary photography and that is the direction I’d like to take my work. For me, street photography allows one and more importantly challenges one to capture the life, emotions and culture of the streets in their most natural state. I truly believe in the words of Elliot Erwitt, “Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

A while back I came across a blog that had a great takeaway point being, “shoot who you are.” This is a way for me to document my journey and to share my images the way I see and understand them through my lens. :)
