Whitney's background is in photography and graphic design, and she studied Christian theology at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. While at Regent, she focused her studies on the intersection of art, theology, and creation care, and thrived as a student and Teaching Assistant for hands-on courses such as ‘Food: Communion, Community, and Creation,’ and ‘Technology, Wilderness, and Creation.’ She grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and has recently moved down the road from Regent with her husband and son to Surrey, BC where she facilitates the internship program for A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre. She is deeply grateful for her time ‘under the green roof.’
