About the Book
From Khartoum to Cairo
by Ralph A. Ledergerber
229 pages with 424 full colour images and maps of Sudan and Egypt.
A journey through Northern Sudan and Egypt, following the meandering life-giving River Nile. A discovery of the ancient forgotten kingdoms of the Black Pharaohs in the land of Kush and then crossing the border into Egypt, where collossal monuments are still dominating the landscape, where tombs and treasures of long gone royal dynasties are testament of a highly developed culture with many questions still unanswered.
