Kelly Ann Charleson lives in Ottawa, Canada. She draws from her work with children and training as a counsellor to create books that feature under-represented subject matters, including foster care, adoption, and illness, as well as books that are just for fun. She hopes that children will look through her books and think 'hey, I could do this too!'
