About the Book
upon a marbled floor
my heart was broken
love spilling and splintered
This book is intended to be an art piece, much like a gallery exhibition catalog. It is a fusion of images, poetry and love; born from a lifelong passion with photography and words. There are a few preview pages available. I hope you consider adding this art piece to your collection.
My photographic work is rooted in identity of time, place, and people. The transience of all that is natural influences and challenges my photography to create shareable moments. My images will derive from a decisive moment or a constructed space. I delve into the deeper aspects of what forms identities. I may take a nostalgic approach by using vernacular photographs in present time to coalesce a new or continued narrative or I will maintain a traditionalist approach of capturing landscape or time just as it is seen in that one fleeting moment. My poetry is mainly Japanese Haiku, but I will also use ballad and free verse. Words overflow from my soul. Once released, it may be weeks, months, or years before more emerge. May they touch you as deeply as they have touched me.
