About the Book
Samuel Thompson, a firefighter and farmer, is a hardworking, committed and humorous young man. As his pager sounds, he races to the demands of his job, hail or shine, night or day. Dressed in yellow, he meets Laine, a student nurse, also captivated by the adrenaline of saving lives. By accident, their paths cross and flames ignite.
Generations apart, the Thompson family spiral in and out of tragedy, love and hardship, one common theme bringing them back together; family.
Will it take the past and present colliding to save their future?
Features & Details
Australian born, in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, I have had a love of rural life from a very young age. I have lived and worked in outback towns, working as a Youth Worker, then Governess, and I have drawn on my experiences from these and shared them in a fictional manner. I am a mother of two beautiful boys Maverick and Kohan, and adding to my rural experiences, my husband, Matt, is a hard-working and loving farmer. For the past three years, (and being a stay at home mum) we have farmed cattle, potatoes, poppies and lucerne on the North West of Tasmania. When I was a child, I remember drawing and creating books in pencil - it has been a dream of mine since then! I am so very fortunate to have the opportunity to share with you both my love and creativity I have carried my entire life. Sharing my stories with like-minded readers is just an absolute dream! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my life-long dream. ~ A happy rural wife x
