The catalog for the exhibition Fête Galante, running September 18th to October 25th 2020, at Heaven Gallery in Chicago. Fête Galante is a group exhibition featuring work from eleven contemporary painters who explore the theme of the fête galante, or courtship party. Originally created in 1717 for famed Rococo painter, Antoine Watteau, these artists delight in showing us sumptuous materials and surfaces, romantic couplings, and feasts with friends.
