About the Book
I always photograph my paintings when I finish them.
The problem is that I never really stop scrutinizing them, even after I have photographed them. As is almost always the case, no sooner do I photograph them than I see something that bothers me, that is poorly painted or compositionally wrong or something that should be added or removed.
This book chronicles the journey of over 60 paintings, as they have been revised and reworked. Some went through more changes than others. But for all, it was always an interesting and colorful journey.
