      Diane Miller Duncan BA (Honours) Canadian Studies, Carleton University Genealogist and Family Historian; Artist Diane has researched the families of her various family lines since the 1970's. In the 1980's, while busy with a young family, she turned her research over to her father, J.R. Ernest Miller who greatly furthered family research before his death in 1997. Diane has picked up where he left off and is compiling information about a number of families with roots in Lanark County, Ontario. Her primary focus at the moment is on the families of her paternal lines - Miller, Ferrier, Dodds, Poole, Mason, McKay, Burns, Gourley, Smith, Gilmour and possibly Lowry and her maternal lines - Mather, Ashby, Baird, Clark, Gillespie, Lunan, Scott, Foster.
