About the Book
The Lubitel 166B is a plastic-bodied, twin lens reflex, 120-format film camera that was made in Russia in relatively large quantities during the 1980s. In response to the conditions imposed by the 2020-2021 phase of the worldwide pandemic, photographer and author Jared Gerlach bought a 166B just as a distraction from the daily news and the lockdowns. This book is a chronicle of images and text from Jared's first year of using the old TLR in a variety of places within Ireland and with a variety of subjects and film types.
