The large, full-color images offer the reader stunning glimpses of the islands life and its landscape. This book showcases and provides concise information about specific species particular those that have develop unique biological traits, such as the heavy or pointed or pointed beaks of finches and other species such as the Galapagos penguin, that are found nowhere else of earth. The intent is to share and educate the reader about some of the wildlife: birds, mammals, reptiles and crustaceans that inhabit the Galapagos Islands and to bring awareness of how global warming has affected these eco-systems.
