About the Book
For a term of one year, a select team is given the opportunity to manage the space and engage in curatorial practices. Alongside learning the principles and practices of curating, each team is given the liberty to reinvent the narrative, challenge the boundaries of a gallery, and evolve the creative footprint of the space.
During the 2021-2022 academic school year the Godine Family Gallery was under the direction of Adine Raboy (BFA Studio for Interrelated Media ‘23), A’knesha Davis-Darkwah (BFA Studio for Interrelated Media ‘23), and Isaiah Crespo-Doherty (BFA Studio for Interrelated Media ‘24).
The Godine Family Gallery is a student-run multi-use space harbored within the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Gallery managers curate exhibitions, performances, installations, conferences, lectures, events, and gatherings that serve the MassArt and Boston community
