About the Book
"In The Rough: A Tour of Geometric Ecology" is a book about an art installation developed in Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve golf course, platform for Fits_art Foundation and Museum in its Golf Triennial event. This art installation suggests the roughness of extinction as part of the evolution and survival of species. These slowly fading geometrical installations are reminders of the fragile natural habitats on which sea turtles and many other species depend upon.
Evolution is a tough race. This project hopes to connect these fading species of turtles with those of us who are more agile to adapt.
