      Edit

This is the second novel about the lives of the Ragless and Wilson families in the new colony of South Australia and continues on from the author's previous book, ‘Be Right and Persist In It’. This story follows John Ragless Jr. and his family from their humble beginnings near Gepps Cross and Gawler Town to the harsh far north of the colony and the goldfields in the eastern colonies. It covers a quarter of a century of their lives and tells of all the joy, tragedy, success and heartbreak they shared together.
