    About the Book

Imagine a world where phoenixes are transportation, where candy grows on trees, where there are unicorns and dragons, where everything is perfect… sort of.
In the small town of Dreamdrift, high in the clouds, twelve-year-old Chloe Meadowbrooks lives with nineteen cats, (including her loyal feline companion, Clover) and her 12 siblings and helpful parents. She gets enrolled in a human school, Starglass Heights, where she builds a strong friendship with Hazel. At a sleepover, Chloe gets lost in Hazel’s mansion-like house and finds something that makes her doubt her newly sprouted friendship. It seems to Chloe that everything is rapidly changing. Back at her home in Skyhaven, Chloe’s other best friend, Lunabelle also has a slight problem. Her parents have gone missing for the past month and Chloe loyally helps her best friend solve this mystery. They make no further progress, but as two worlds pull Chloe in two different directions, things just seem to get worse. Do the mysteries align? Could Hazel be behind it all, or is someone else stirring up all this trouble?
