About the Book
Between 1915 and 1923, an estimated one and a half million Armenians perished in a systematic campaign of deportation and mass killing-the first genocide of the twentieth century. This book bears witness through one life shaped by those events.
Told through oral family history and recorded as it was spoken, these memories move as remembrance itself does-fragmented, vivid, and deeply human. More than a personal memoir, this is a living echo of a people who endured, refused silence, and would not be erased.
