About the Book
A gifted athlete, nature lover, and master mechanic, he left behind a respected life and successful auto repair shop to begin again in America.
He arrived uncertain of a country he barely understood, yet through skill, hard work, family, and determination, he built a successful business and a secure future for the generations who followed him.
Told by his younger brother,
RAISED UNDER ETHIOPIAN SKIES
is more than the story of one man's success. It is a warm and often humorous memoir of two very different brothers, the bond that followed them across continents, and a man who lived according to his own values—and was happy doing exactly that.
A story of family, resilience, opportunity, and a life well lived.
