    About the Book

    Edit

Dominic S.F. Lee has been a collector of stamps since the 1960s. As a native of Hong Kong, Dominic grew up with a love of collecting and history. He started collecting in high school and continues to this day. Dominic can also boast his senior membership on The American Philatelic Society expertising committee, which has authorized him to certify the authenticity of stamps. His personal collection consists of thousands and thousands of stamps. This collection of stamps, letters, and medals was a rare find. Upon close examination of the letters and envelopes Dominic discovered a collector’s treasure. This book includes a complete description of both the letters and stamps as well a translation of the hard to decipher writings of British Army General Clement Alexander Edwards.

Dominic was educated both in China and the United States. He is the founder and CEO of Little Susitna Construction Company, Inc. He has earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems major), a M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, all from the University of Missouri at Columbia, Missouri. He also did graduate study in arctic, civil, environmental and wave engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He resides in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife of 42 years, Freddie Sue Lee.
