About the Book
For the 10th time, Southern Pacific Forever has compiled a publication documenting today's railroad. With an emphasis on rare boxcars and the art that has become commonplace upon it's equipment, SPF displays the last six months of 2010 as seen on Northern California rail lines. In addition to the usual hometown benching, SPF has invited the mostly South Eastern United States Goonies (GNS) Crew as this volumes Artist Highlight. A reefer packed explosion of color and a variance of style, this section captures what the boys have been up to when not storming pirate ships and hunting for buried treasure.
Other highlights include a large section on hard copy scans from the SPF archive along with years of trades from contributors coast to coast. Plus, a heavy dose of a new section called "Railroad Stories" that sheds a little light on quite a few railroads, active and fallen. You know there's more of course, so it'll take a few hours to trudge through the some 1800 images spread across 440 pages of boxcars and other railroad rolling stock contained within Southern Pacific Forever's 10th book. Enjoy!

About the Creator
Southern Pacific Forever
Northern California
I have a passion for the railroad, some say addiction, but I prefer the former. I've been lucky enough to travel around the country and Canada to watch trains and meet other young enthusiasts like myself. I'm a fan of art and love the country, and todays railroad holds both quite well. At the present time I live next to a large railyard and am fortunate to have plenty of opportunities to photograph railcars daily. So, until I find myself living under the Thailand sun, I'll be resting patiently beneath the California sky waiting for another line to come rolling by.
