I have been shooting outdoor photography since taking a photography course at the University of North Florida in 1973. I travel every month to climb at various locations around the Southeast United States. I do a mix of belayed and roped solo climbs. My solo device is a device of my own design. It is the lightest device for doing solo leads. I have come to enjoy climbing with others more than soloing, but I still get the urge to be alone on a mountain. I have been married to my best friend, Ann, for 38 years. We have five grown kids.
