About the Book
Written in the style of the sports pages of a small town newspaper the stories chronicle their victories and defeats as the boys, starting out as unseasoned young boys, mature into cohesive, disciplined sportsmen that took on all comers.
Populated with characters like “Big Jules”, “Chuckie”, and “Circus” each story tracks how a team gelled and finally marched through to the championship, scoring 145 goals and racking up 320 penalty minutes along the way over the course of 38 games.

About the Creator
I specialize in urban and documentary photography observing people and things around me. I'm always intrigued with how we interact with each other, our technology and nature. I have contributed to various projects, my most recent being Calgary's Heritage Park's 50th Anniversary book project where I was lead photographer. This book drew on the work put into my first collection, "Heritage Park Suite", My most recent book "Working Stiffs: The People" is the first of a two part project dedicated to working men and women that are often unseen, unknown and unthanked. The second part will focus on the "Tools of the Trade" and look at the tools, technology and "stuff" that working men and women use to get their jobs done. This should be available late 2017 to early 2018.
