    About the Book

    Edit

40 years ago the Canada West Region was granted its Charter. It was the first Porsche Club of America (PCA) Region to be formed outside the USA. In the book's Foreword, John Macfarlane, the founding member of the Canada West Region and its first President, tells the story of this landmark event in Porsche Club of America history.

With everyone talking about 2013 being a celebration of 50 Years of the Porsche 911, I wanted the book to contain 50 Porsches owned by our local club members. The 50 cars in this book are from every one of those five decades of Porsche 911 production - truly an amazing collection of automobiles owned by a group of very fine people that really like their Porsches. This large landscape (13" x 11") book contains 200 large photos and 110 pages.

I took the photographs at a location 3000 feet up on Cypress Mountain (in West Vancouver, BC) from mid September to mid October, 2013 as the weather and schedules permitted. I really enjoyed the experience and that great twisty drive up and down the mountain was enjoyed by all of us driving Porsches!

My photography has been in many places over the years including album covers, posters, newspapers, magazines and two other books entitled, "The Terracotta Warriors" and "Digital Diversity" also available from Blurb.
