About the Book
Breathtakingly beautiful and of epic proportions, Alaska is one of our few remaining wildernesses. A nature’s last outpost, where glaciers fading into blue, dramatic mountain ranges, crystal clear waterways and a rich fauna rule. Home for America’s highest mountain, the constantly snow-clad Mount McKinley, as well as for a great number of bears, moose and caribou – but where people are few and far between.
Not only did our 2013 fall visit leave thousands of images on our memory cards, it also left a great many spectacular and over-whelming visual impressions forever conserved in our minds. It also resulted in a constant longing back to the exciting scenery and its pristine beauty.
