About the Book
With only six months and limited territorial coverage available, communicating the vastness of the world’s largest uninhabited desert is an absolute impossibility.
Let’s hope that I can at least pass along my fascination and present my point of view, framing not only wide and limitless horizons, but also the details, textures and colours that change with every hour of the day, and season of the year.
Every trip taken, the time spent between land and sky, touched
my soul and continuously kept reminding me of the proper scale
of nature, and the fragility of our existence as human beings.
Direct contact with the desert, its near mystical mountains
and vistas, can broaden and help focus our perception
and understanding of the value of nature in every form,
and why we should actively preserve it.
