    DIEGO’S LEGACY LIVES ON

For a quarter century there was a vacuum of information about Diego, and then The Diego Voci Project was founded.

Coop Cooprider the Diego™ historian since 1974, started the Diego Voci History thread on Artifact Collectors, April 30 2010. Since then the interest and enthusiasm in the art and history of Diego™ has continually increased.
    .
We celebrate Diego™ in recognition of a vast and prolific career for the many collectors that were touched by the product of Diego’s mind's eye and the warmth of his good nature. He lived and breathed his Art.

We have documented many of the historical facts with words and photographs which have been published and archived throughout the life of the Diego Voci Project. From the hard cover book The Beauty of Diego to now, The Diego Voci Chronicles, a written record comprising 5 years of Newsletters, also, key dates and events associated with the evolution of The Diego Voci Project.

The written word has made it possible for people to remember across generations and time, yet now digital technology and global networks are overriding our natural ability to forget – the past is ever present, ready to be called up at the click of a mouse.

Assuming this is true, that everything posted on the Internet lasts eternally, then our collective efforts over the past decade have created a virtual eternity in which Diego™ will live forever.
