About the Book
A collection of over fifty interviews with Black Women about their hair experiences filtered into poetry and prose then curated alongside stunning photography.
This book is a testament of the bonds between Black Women formed by our unique shared experiences. We have community yet each woman still lives within her own personhood.
The women in the photos wore hair costumes designed by Hasani Browne, who also creative-directed the shoots. The models were photographed by Anna Romanofsky.
