After graduating from Parsons School of Design in 1989, I worked at the editorial design and development studio, WBMG, with principals Walter Bernard and Milton Glaser until 1993. I went on to associate and senior art director positions at several magazines including GQ, Art & Antiques, Time, and Newsweek. I moved from magazines to book publishing in 2000, working primarily for Workman Publishing in NY, then moved to Portland, OR. in 2009 to set up and run an art dept. for Tin House Publishing. I left Tin House in 2012 to freelance, and to spend more time on botanical art.
