O. Vazquez is a prolific entertainer with over twenty years in the dance, theater and film industries. Outside of being an entertainer, he has a lengthy, writing history. His writing credits include: ranked "4th" in a national poetry contest, hosted by Poetry.com, 2004. His poem was published in an anthology that same year. Vazquez's book was voted within the "Top 10 Best Summer Reads" by Blurb.com for "Summer of the Dark Mandate" under his pen name Ottoman Saul. He recently wrote a short film based on his new book "The Rebirth of Kool" that was featured in the "Cannes Short Film Corner", 2018. It was titled after the opening Act of the novel: "Enter the Zoot Suit Riot."
Otto has also worked with underprivileged youths his entire life and uses his talents to inspire his global community. He uses his creativity as a writer and author to stamp out racism and oppression, by observing coveted events in history.
