When A. Francis Nuhn started this book she lived in an old house with little kids and the world’s kookiest dachshund; who was dearly loved.

The children grew up and flew the coop. The family pet lives on in these pages. The author is a painter who can’t stop making things. She’s also quite the “Doxie Spotter” living in the Hudson Valley, with plans to create another picture book based on Dachshunds (which shouldn’t take as long as this first one).
