About the Book
Dig in to a half dozen tales where good food sets the mood. These adventures build bridges to recipes, nutrition facts, and tips about healthy eating. Cooking up these stories teaches the whole family the basics of eating well. Sharon drew inspiration for her tales from her Native, French, and Scottish roots, and from memories of growing up in Ontario. Dry information on nutrition can be hard to swallow. "Cook Up A Story" makes food facts easier to swallow by mixing in some fun!

About the Creator
Sharon Rudnitski
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
An early interest in kitchen pleasures inspired my degree in food science from the University of Toronto. A Gold Harvest award capped my publishing career with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, for a national science program I led for children. Now I enjoy bringing my stories, recipes, and healthy-eating messages privately to kids in the community, with the help of my alter-ego, Vinny Grette, the 12-year-old boy who lives inside all of us, regardless of the passing years..
