About the Creator
Born to immigrant parents in rural, southwestern Ontario, Alice has been a professional artist since 1980. She maintains a studio in Cobourg, Ontario, where she lives with her husband. Alice completed her BA in Art Education at Calvin College in Grand, Rapids, Michigan, and has studied visual art at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Alice has exhibited her work in numerous juried exhibitions in Canada, Europe and the United States, including Chicago, New York and New Mexico. Her commissioned sculpture "C Formation" is a permanent art installation at the recently built Cobourg Community Centre. She is a founding member of the Colborne Society of Artists and is represented by the OENO Gallery in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.
