About the Book
In July 2007 Julie Grimm learned she had breast cancer. With determination to survive for her family, her sons, and herself she fought back, and won. Allowing a professional photographer to record her treatment, regardless of the course, the outcome is an honest look into the interior of real human strength: Julie's will to survive.
Her book serves as a reminder and signal to those facing and fighting breast cancer, keeping in mind that we often fight on behalf of someone close, other than ourselves. Triumph is far from guaranteed, but does happen. Julie aims to see that it happens with more frequency until it no long happens at all.
