About the Book
The Riot Riot Series began as a study of hockey fights and quickly turned to a synthesis of sports violence and protest riots. Inspired by the current social climate of the United States, the artist aims to questions the stereotypes of rioting, and how media bias warps the true nature of these events depending on race, class, and political gain.
This book is a culmination of work from the series that began in July of 2015 in Venice, Italy.
The original show was held in the Church of San Geremia, and featured prints, installations, and books of the black and white sketches.
