About the Book
This book demonstrates the process involved in creating Jane's current body of work titled "Foreshadowing - Endangered & Threatened Plant Species". For this project, she photographed the shadows of endangered plant species in Michigan and transferred the images onto paper she made from invasive plant species. The book includes pictures of collecting invasive plants, making pulp, making paper, and transferring images onto homemade paper using an alcohol gel transfer technique.
