    Rod Purcell

    Rod Purcell is a photographer, writer, blogger and curator. Born in London, Rod was originally a community development worker by profession, He has also worked at the University of Glasgow as Head of Adult Education. Rod is the author of several books and numerous articles. Over the past twenty years he has travelled widely and undertaken photographic projects in Europe, Asia and the USA. Rod currently lives in Scotland. He has a MA in Photography and Urban Culture from Goldsmiths at The University of London, and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. His exhibitions have included: All at Sea, Ever Changing Light, Proximities, Elemental, American Roads, On The Edge: People of Kashgar, Glasgow Lives, Seeking Emptiness: Tibet, Dreaming of Basho
